By becoming a member the signatory agrees to and acknowledges the following:
- the signatory enters into the accord in good faith with the intention of upholding its principles.
- the agreement is not legally binding, nor does it give rise to any claim or entitlement.
- the accord is a voluntary agreement between local liquor licensees along with other key stakeholders such as NSW Department of Health, Department of Local Government, the RTA, Police, the NSW Office of Justice Liquor and Gaming and other interested parties.
- Withdrawal from the accord agreement is made by tabling a letter of withdrawal to the accord executive.
- the accord reserves the right to advise NSW Office of Justice Liquor and Gaming of those licensed premises which are not members of the accord, and request action to ensure their participation
